Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Claudia Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including trial users and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Claudia is a Chrome extension that records browser workflows click-by-click and exports them as structured SKILL.md files for use with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code. The Service includes:

• →Click-by-click browser activity recording with automatic screenshots
• →Auto-generated step descriptions
• →Session management, editing, and export
• →Optional desktop activity monitoring via a native host add-on
• →Local-only data storage with AES-256-GCM encryption

3. Free Trial

Claudia offers a 1-day free trial that begins at the moment of installation. No credit card or payment information is required to start the trial. During the trial, you have full access to all features. After the trial expires, a paid subscription or lifetime license is required to continue using the Service.

4. Pricing & Billing

Claudia is available under the following plans:

All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our payment processor. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

5. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Claudia on up to 3 devices simultaneously. You may not:

• →Share, distribute, or sell your license key to others
• →Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the extension
• →Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• →Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the licensing mechanism

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Claudia responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Specifically:

• →Authorization: You will only record workflows on websites and applications where you have authorization to do so.
• →Sensitive data: While Claudia automatically redacts passwords, credit card numbers, SSNs, and API keys, you are responsible for ensuring that recordings do not capture unauthorized personal data.
• →Compliance: If you work in a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, education, government), you are responsible for ensuring your use of Claudia complies with applicable regulations. See our Compliance page for framework-specific guidance.
• →No harmful use: You will not use Claudia to record credentials, private communications, or sensitive information belonging to others without their consent.

7. Intellectual Property

• →Your content: All recordings, exported SKILL.md files, and workflow documentation you create using Claudia belong to you. We claim no ownership over your content.
• →Our software: The Claudia extension, its code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Claudia and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to how Claudia is designed. All recording data is stored locally on your device — never on our servers. For full details on data collection, storage, encryption, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

• →Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• →Lifetime licenses: Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• →Refund requests: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact support and we will work to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

• →We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all websites.
• →Sensitive data redaction is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that all sensitive information will be detected and redacted in every case.
• →Screenshots captured during recording may contain sensitive information visible on the page. Users are responsible for reviewing recordings before sharing.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Claudia and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your license and terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to sharing license keys, circumventing licensing mechanisms, or using the Service for illegal purposes. Upon termination, your license key will be deactivated. Your locally stored data will remain on your device until you delete it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g., through the extension or via email).

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
